A Yazidi woman who has been held captive for more than a decade

Fazia Amin Sidou, a Yazidi woman who has been held captive for more than a decade, described the atrocities of ISIS during a conversation with British documentary filmmaker Alan Duncan.

Recently he was rescued from Gaza by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the US Embassy. Sido said that during her stay in Syria she was fed meat of murdered children, given drugs and raped. Sido was kidnapped when she was 11 years old. She was one of thousands of Yazidis who suffered at the hands of ISIS. It is estimated that 5,000 people were murdered and more than 10,000 were taken hostage.

The 21-year-old told filmmaker Duncan that he and other hostages felt sick after eating food in captivity. Then the ISIS members revealed that they were eating cooked babies. After being released he told The Sun: "They cooked rice and meat and brought it to us. Because we were so hungry, we just ate what was on the table.

When we were eating we knew something was wrong because the taste was strange but we just ate because we were hungry. “After that we all had stomach aches and felt sick.”

When we ate, they told us the meat was that of children,” the hostage said, adding that “there was a woman there who had a heart attack at that time and died.” They showed us pictures of mutilated children and babies and said 'these are the babies you ate'.

It is very difficult but it was not our fault, they forced us but of course it is very difficult for us that this happened. We had nothing in our hands.
